TYPE 2 NATION and type2nation.com are owned by SelfRx Media, a Massachusetts Partnership. Our sources of revenue are advertisements and sponsorships placed on the site by marketers that wish to reach our audience.  Advertising content and graphics are the sole responsibility of the advertisers. No advertising on type2nation.com may assume or mimic the appearance of our editorial content without the words ADVERTISEMENT or SPONSORED CONTENT in distinctive type at the beginning of the content. Neither TYPE 2 NATION nor type2nation.com endorses or has a financial interest in any product marketed to visitors to our site.

We do not accept advertising for any product or service which we believe, after exercise of due diligence, suggests or makes claims about health, dietary, or fitness benefits which are scientifically unsupported, or advertising from any source whose commercial reputation cannot be established.

Information shared within any social media areas of this site are not reviewed by the TYPE 2 NATION. These areas are provided for you to share personal experiences, connect with other visitors, and discuss anything relevant to the management and treatment of diabetes. It is strongly recommended that patients and their caregivers consult with the medical provider regarding their health condition before undertaking any treatment(s) for diabetes or other conditions. By using any one or more of the Social Networking areas, you signify your agreement to the site Terms of Use.

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide a notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. TYPE 2 NATION reserves the right to remove postings from any Social Networking area at any time and for any reason. TYPE 2 NATION reserves the right to take any action it deems necessary to protect the personal safety of our guests or the public. However, TYPE 2 NATION assumes no liability or responsibility to users of the TYPE 2 NATION Site or any other person or entity for performance or nonperformance of the aforementioned activities.
